This safari can be termed as a short safari which can favor people with limited time. Therefore, on your safari of 4 days hope to encounter the amazing primate apes which are believed to be the third to humans after chimpanzees, other primates like monkeys, beautiful bird species since you will be walking around the tropical rainforest and many others. Experience the Batwa trails and their culture as you get a chance to interact with them and hear stories from the elders, enjoy their cultural music and dance, their eating behaviors and many more.
As soon as at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari driver guide who will extremely spend all 4 days with you while on your safari. He will brief you about the safari the afternoon set and embark on a journey for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have a stopover on your way to Kayabwe equator for the best photo shooting, and relaxing and also visit the nearby craft shop to buy some souvenirs to take home for remembrance. Move back onto the journey and check in with the booked lodge for the better of tomorrow’s activities.
Arise morning as early as possible for breakfast then after meet your driver and head to the starting point for briefing and grouping for easy trekking. Remember they do grouping because there are always eight people recommended to trek with a gorilla family since many people are not allowed to be in the presence of gorillas in order not to scare them. Having a chance to get any gorilla group, take your good time while in the presence of these primates, and apes to learn their social behaviours and others.
On day 3 of your safari, you will wake up for a well-prepared breakfast early morning and set off for the second trek. You will have a chance to visit another gorilla family different from the one visited the previous day and learn more to expand your knowledge. Drive back to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for another activity in the afternoon. You will drive to the starting point where you will meet a local to take you through the memorable trails of Batwa which are known to be the trails that these people used before conservation. After moving back to the lodge for dinner and a night stay.
Your 4 days safari will probably end with a cup of coffee or tea depending on your choice from your lodge as you feel the morning sunbathe, be in love with the bird melodies then pack all your belongings and check out from the lodge and drive back to Kampala. Your safari driver guide will drop you at the agreed location and fly back home.
