Day 01: Pick up by Kenya driver guide and drive to Masai Mara

Start your road trip to Masai Mara from Nairobi capital taking southwestward direction. At the comfort of your 4×4 safari vehicle with pop-up roof/sunroof, enjoy the spectacular view of the countryside breathtaking rift valley landscape. Today’s road trip will last for 5-6 hours and you arrive early at the Masai Mara Reserve located in Narok County.

En-route, you may have a brief stopover at Narok town to purchase items and proceed up to the lodge to check in and also have a delicious lunch meal. Leave the lodge and set off for the afternoon game drive for you to look out for the big five game mammals and other diverse animal species while grazing or hunting.

Expected sights for the day will include cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, impalas, zebras, leopards, lions, rhinos, wildebeest, warthogs, and birds. Safely return to your lodge for relaxation and to enjoy dinner at leisure.

Day 02: Depart for full day game viewing

Conveniently set off from your safari lodge for a full day game viewing expedition with a private safari guide in Maasai Mara National Reserve. Leave when you have had breakfast and start your search at 6:00am, catching up with most of the morning hunters in the wild.

Your unlimited game viewing excursion combines morning and afternoon session with focus to search for the big five and watch the great migration (often starts from July to October –peak months). Be ready for the world’s spectacle –watch wildebeest in huge numbers move in search for grass and water accompanied by 1000s of zebras, gazelles and more.

At the Mara, watch the powerful movement while wildebeest cross while crocodiles wait to catch some. It is the most dramatic moment not to be missed and if time allows, combine your long day wildlife excursion with Masai village visit (optional).

Day 03: Depart for Nairobi capital

Arise early for a leisurely breakfast and set off for morning game drive. Leave the lodge when already checked out and catch up with early morning risers including hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, then proceed back to Nairobi capital to be dropped off at the airport or hotel.
