Day 01: Drive from Abeid Amani Airport to your hotel, Stone town excursion

Pick up at Abeid Amani Airport upon early arrival in the morning and transfer to the hotel. Check in at your pre-booked hotel and enjoy lunch then embark on a guided walking excursion through the Stone town, also the heart of Zanzibar. On a guided Stone town walking tour, expect to visit iconic historical and cultural sites for 2-3 hours.

Stone town is a recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site and today, expect to visit the Sultan’s palace, House of Wonders, Old Slave market, Old Fort, and others. After, you will be dropped off to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and a night stay.

Day 02: Snorkeling and memorable swimming/relaxation

After breakfast, set off for Kwale Island tour and take a traditional dhow boat and sail. It will be at Kwale where snorkeling adventure will be enjoyed but with an experienced expert available to guide you. Get to see the beautiful corals and tropical fish without forgetting to capture incredible pictures.

Return and have lunch, then good time relaxing. Sail back and connect to Stone town, Zanzibar for a relaxed afternoon. In the evening, spend most of your time chilling at the lodge/nearby beach.

Day 03: Visit the Prison Island and Spice farm

A hefty breakfast in the morning and you set off for Prison Island excursion. Catch up with a dhow boat ride and with your guide; expect to see the giant tortoises weighing on average 200kg and some have lived up to 150 years. After photography, continue with snorkeling or swimming then later, retreat.

Next visit will be the Spice Plantation and upon arrival, get a warm welcome of the spice aroma. With local expert on lead, explore how the spices are grown from the very first stage of planting to processing to make final product. There will be a chance to also have a taste of some before you get back to your boutique hotel facility.

Day 04: Depart from Zanzibar

Check out and meet your driver guide fully prepared to be dropped off to the airport –Abeid Amani International Airport. From Abeid Amani Airport, fly back home and today marks the end of 4 Days 3 Nights Zanzibar.
