Get up close to the world’s strongest primate species in Uganda-the Mountain Gorillas which can only be found in the Continent of Africa. This is 6 days spent in two countries, with great weather, variety of accommodation options, and transportation. The trip is to Bwindi Impenetrable National park in the south western Part. Research reveals that Mountain Gorillas are the strongest primate species in the world, and are only found in the high altitude areas of Africa.
They possess over 98% Human like DNA, and live in families dominated by female but led by an Alpha male with a silver-like lining at the Back. IN six days. You will rest, discover new places, meet new people, and trek the Gorillas. Other activies are Kigali city tour and the Batwa trail walk. This trip start and ends in Kigali city in Rwanda.
Today, you will arrive and be welcomed by our company representative whom you will identify by the name card. After a clearance at the Immigration offices, you will hit the road to your Lodge in Kigali city; Rwanda capital and one of Africa cleanest cities. Your dinner Meal will be served right in time after check-in, and then a good evening In the African continent. You will retire to bed at the end of the day.
Get your day started with a relaxed breakfast meal at the lodge and then a safari briefing. Thereafter, you will take a drive around Kigali city, to buy some Missing Items and also know one of Africa’s cleanest cities.
Visit the Genocide Memorial site; a place where over 25000 victims of the Tutsi and Hutu ethnic conflict where Buried and commemorated as a move against Genocide activities in the world. Lunch will be around town and the other places include the fast growing centers, Craft shops and the local markets. At sunset, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Today, brighten your morning with a cup of coffee. At about 11:00 hrs, you will hit the road to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the south western Part of Uganda. The Journey offers a great view of the rolling Hills, lush vegetation, the long horn cattle and the Busying towns. You will stopover enroute for Lunch, and also in places recommended by the driver Guide. The Lush jungle of Bwindi will be your home at sunset, as you will arrive and check-in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.
At 6:00am, an energizing breakfast meal will be served at the lodge. After Breakfast, you will pick your packed Lunch and the Trekking items and head to the park headquarters for a pre-trekking briefing. The sessions last for about 30 Minutes, with the Ranger Guides explaining the trekking dos and don’ts, and assigning a Gorilla trekking family.
In the 1-8 hours of trekking duration, you never know what will come your way, what the eyes will see and ears here. The duration of the Gorilla trekking session is on foot, and is dependent on how far the Apes have moved and your trekking speed. You also have the opportunity of uncovering the different plant species, the birds, primate nests and more.
Gorillas live in families, led by an alpha Male with A silver-like lining at the Back and the center of focus during the trekking Session. It’s Giant Body, and reaction towards humans makes photography a thing to do. You are given an hour with them and thereafter return to the lodge for a refreshment, dinner and a nap. Your lunch is In the Jungle.
Wake Up very early in the Morning for Breakfast. At about 9:00 am, you will go for a briefing with the Batwa ranger Guides. The Batwa are formerly Hunters and Gatherers around the vast Virunga Rangers. Not until they were vacated, they no other Life. They lived in caves, put on the leaves as clothes, ate the wild animals, and used the plants as medicine.
These is the life you will show in this trail as you explore what the Batwa forefathers did. You will be shown a few plants and their Use, harvest fruits, and any other thing about the forest. Afterword’s, you will return to the Lodge for Lunch
Next in plan will have cultural entertainment with the Batwa Pygmies? They will take you around their Village, tell stories, and perform in songs and dance. At Sunset, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
At about 9am; enjoy a Lip-smacking breakfast meal at the Lodge. Thereafter, start your Journey to Kigali International airport. The Journey lasts for about 4-5 hours, with an enroute stopover for Lunch. There will be a safe Journey Message from Our company representative.
