Day 1: Arrival and Airport Pick-up

Upon stepping on the peaceful land of Uganda at Entebbe Airport, our driver representative will pick you from the Airport, greet you, take you through the itinerary and then transfer you to the booked hotel where you will check-in, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Arise in the morning, have a delicious breakfast at your hotel, meet your driver guide, check-out and then head to Kibale National Park the prime capital of the world’s endangered chimpanzees, this journey will last for about 5-6 hours driving through green lush tea plantations. The first stopover will be at Nakayima tree, listen to the mysterious stories about it, proceed to Fort Portal for lunch and embark on the journey to the park, arrive in the late evening, check-in to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

In the early morning, have a scrumptious breakfast and head to the visitor briefing Center Kanyanchu where you will be briefed about the trekking etiquettes and then be assigned a chimpanzee family. Thereafter, head to the jungle for about 1 to 4 hours depending where the primates slept including an hour that will be spent with them taking pictures and recording videos. Return to the lodge for lunch and later head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arrive in the evening, check-in to the accommodation, have dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Game drive and launch cruise

On this beautiful day, you will rise in the morning, have breakfast and head the open savanna grasslands of Queen Elizabeth where you will meet nocturnal animals like hyenas, leopards, lions going back to their dens and also early risers like kobs, bushbucks, waterbucks, buffaloes, elephants among other animals. While on the Game drive, you will be enjoying sweet melodies coming from birds chirping in tree brunches as the park is gifted with over 600 bird species. After a morning game drive, head to the lodge for lunch as you wait for the evening launch cruise.

After a scrumptious lunch, head to another yet rewarding opportunity where you be sighting wildlife especially the hippopotamuses and crocodiles that are always seen on the water bank relaxing as well as aquatic birds for example giant kingfishers, African fish eagles, pelicans among others. Retire to the lodge after sunset for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Wake up in the morning, have breakfast and head to Bwindi via Ishasha sector where you will be meeting tree climbing lions. You will spot other animals for example buffaloes, elephants, birds, bushbucks and water bucks, kobs among others. You will bid a farewell and head to Bwindi, arriving in the evening, check-in to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural tour

This another wonderful day of your safari where you will meet the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. You will enjoy breakfast and head to the briefing center. The ranger guide will allocate you a gorilla family to track and then be led by an armed ranger to the off-beaten paths in the thick jungles.

Meet these primates for an hour, take pictures, return to the lodge for lunch and thereafter, engage in the Batwa cultural tour. These are the shortest people and they are also known as forest people, they will entertain you through songs, dances and their ancient stories. Return to the lodge for dinner and enjoy your last night in Bwindi.

Day 7: Check-out and transfer to Kampala

On this beautiful day, arise in the morning greet your intestines with breakfast, meet your driver guide and transfer back to Kampala. The first stopover will be in Mbarara city for lunch and then proceed to the second break at Equator. You will have an Equator experience, take pictures and then embark on the journey to the Airport. Depending on the time of your flight, the driver guide will drop you at the Airport or at the hotel and this will be the end of your safari.
