Detailed Itinerary

Day1. Head to Bwindi national park from Kampala

Leave Kampala in the morning and embark on a journey that will last for about 8 to 9 hour’s drive. While on the way, pass at the point where the equator crosses Uganda and have a chance to take memorable photos, buy souvenirs and many more others. Arrive late evening and then head to the lodge booked.

Day2. Gorilla trekking adventure and optional Batwa community tour

Wake up and take part in breakfast, and drive to the park offices where the briefing takes place. During this exercise, be told the guidelines to follow while trekking such as do not litter the park premises, always keep distance from the gorillas, don’t use a flashlight camera, don’t feed wild animals and many more others.

Begin the search and on meeting the gorilla family, take memorable photos and record videos for an hour as you spot other animals, birds and butterflies. The overall experience takes about 8 hours and on returning to the lodge, lunch is owed with an option of visiting the Batwa community a place to discover one of the ancient African cultures.

Day3. Head back to Kampala

Enjoy breakfast and then transfer back to Kampala with a stopover at the equator point for lunch. Proceed to Kampala and be dropped at any agreed point to mark the end of 3 Days Bwindi impenetrable forest national park tour.
