This 6 days Tanzania Safari takes you to the country’s most visited Savanah Park. Destinations with variety of flora and fauna; stunning landscape, and natural wonders. Tanzania is the largest country in East Africa and one of the best holiday destinations on the African continent.

Your journey takes the Northern circuit, to Manyara national park with the rare tree climbing Lions; Serengeti national park- a host to the annual wildebeest migration; Ngorongoro crater with the world’s largest caldera. You will do game drive, nature walk, cultural encounter and photography. There is a perfect balance between rest and activities, and lots of flora and fauna to identify within the 6 days. The trip starts and ends in Arusha Tanzania.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Manyara NP

Meet and greet our company driver guide at the agreed point, a greeting and glass of Juice follow. Thereafter, you will set off for Manyara National park; traversing the busy towns, plantations and rolling hills. The journey takes about 5-7 hours through the maram and tarmac roads. You will have Lunch enroute, then arrive at your hotel in the evening for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Game drive in Manyara NP

After breakfast, you will depart for game drive in the woods. The wish will be to spot the tree climbing lions lazily resting at the tree branch. Other animals present at Manyara are the forest elephants, cape Buffaloes, warthogs, zebras, and more; primates, birds and more.

Your game drive will last for the entire day with a picnic Lunch in the wilderness. At sunset, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti national park

After breakfast, you will depart Manyara for Serengeti national park. There will be an enroute stopover for Lunch, and an afternoon arrival at the lodge for check-in, refreshment and dinner. The route is covered with rolling hills, plants and busy towns where you can purchase some roadside vended items.

Day 4: Game drive and cultural tours

07:00 is time for breakfast. Thereafter, you will have a 3-4-hour game drive, well guided by an experienced ranger guide who will explain the characteristics of the different animals.

Their color, family, lifespan and feeds. What happens in the wilderness is grazing, rest or hunt, so expect such an encounter. Much rare scenarios is when the animal comes on top or under your car. Buffaloes, elephants, Rhinos, giraffes, gazelles, zebras, warthogs, call Serengeti home. After game drive, you will have a lunch break

At about 15:00 hrs, go out for cultural encounter with the Masai warriors. You will take a tour around the community; visiting the farm yards, manyattas, and attending to the traditional “high jump” dance, where he who jumps highest is crowned. The life and story of a Masai is on cattle keeping. End the day with dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro for evening Nature walk

After breakfast, you will depart for Ngorongoro crater. The Journey lasts for about 3-4 hours, with the views of the rolling hills, lush vegetation, and busy towns. You will arrive at the park in time for Lunch, enjoy your meal and then spend the evening exploring one of the world’s largest land calderas. At the caldera summit, you will spot the animal hideouts, breathtaking landscape and more. When all is done, you will retire to the lodge with dinner and a nap.

Day 6: Sunrise Game drive and departure

Today’s game drive starts at 6:00am, for about 3-4 hours, with hopes of catching up with the night hunters returning to their hideouts, and the grassers starting with the fresh pasture. There is no assurance on what bird or mammal you will spot that day. Just be expectant of any of the park residents notably; the leopards, hippos, elephants, zebras, warthogs, waterbuck, wild dogs, wildebeest, and more.

Don’t forget the stunning landscape and different plants you will pleasure in photographing. After game drive, you will return to the lodge for late breakfast, and check-out for a Transfer to the airport in Arusha. Lunch stopover will be enroute.
