Detailed Itinerary 

Day 1: Arrival and Pick Up

On this day, you shall meet our representative, who will be your guide for the next 5 Days of Tanzania Calving Season Safari. Your safari guide will take you through a briefing about the safari including the destinations to visit, activities to do as well as accommodation facilities. Later, you shall transfer to the Hotel where you shall enjoy a relaxed evening and a peaceful overnight at the Hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

Rise early in the morning and enjoy a restful breakfast at the hotel, check out, and prepare to embark on a long drive to the northern part of Tanzania, Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site popular for the wildebeest Migration which is one of the seven natural wonders of the world attracting tourists from the rest of the world to come and experience this fascinating nature wonder. Arrive at the Lodge for your lunch and prepare to embark on an evening game drive as you catch the sunset and breathtaking views.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive

Rise early in the morning to catch up with the early risers and have great wildlife viewing in the Ndutu area when the wildlife is still active. Game drives in the Ndutu area of Serengeti offer a mesmerizing moment to witness the wildebeests giving birth and calving young ones as they are accompanied by predators such as lions and cheetahs waiting to hunt and kill animals for their survival. Later, you shall have your breakfast served in the bush with breathtaking views of the Serengeti plains. During the game drive, you shall have a chance to spot a variety of wildlife species, such as lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, gazelles, and different species of birds such as Secretary birds, African fish eagle, Lilac-breasted roller, Kori bustard, Marabou stork, White-bellied bustard, Red-billed hornbill, Abdim’s stork, Pygmy falcon, African hoopoe, and Red-cheeked cordon leu. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Crater

After an early morning breakfast, prepare to embark on a thrilling journey for the next 3 to 4 hours to Ngorongoro Conservation Crater. Ngorongoro Conservation Crater is also known as the Garden of Eden, which consists of plenty of pastures that support the existence of a variety of wildlife species, including the Big 5 (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, white and black Rhinos), wildebeests, gazelles, zebras among other wildlife species. Ngorongoro Conservation Area consists of the world’s largest caldera and nine other craters that offer exciting and breathtaking views.

Arrive at the lodge for your lunch and later proceed for an evening game drive in the park for late evening sightings, mostly to catch the nocturnal and solitary animals such as leopards. Return to the lodge for your restful dinner and peaceful overnight.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive and Return to Arusha Airport

Have a restful breakfast at the lodge and head out for the early morning game drive in the Garden of Eden, where you will have opportunities to spot different wildlife species, including lions, leopards, elephants, Rhinos, Zebras, Buffaloes, Gazelles and wildebeests, later you shall drive back to the lodge for your lunch and relaxation.

After Lunch, you shall check out and embark on a thrilling 3 – 4 Hours journey to Arusha International Airport as you conclude the 5-day Tanzania Calving Season Safari.
