Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick Up and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Upon arrival, you shall be picked up by your safari guide for the next 5 Days and taken through a briefing for the 5 Days Uganda Cultural Tour and later transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Uganda Equator for photo moment and refreshments. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is Uganda’s premium gorilla trekking destination inhabiting a total population of over half of the world’s Mountain gorillas. The park is located in southwestern Uganda and is home to a variety of animal species. Arrive at the lodge in the evening and check-in for relaxation and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa Cultural Experience

Rise early in the morning with a mouthwatering breakfast and later gather at the visitor’s information centre where you shall have a briefing about gorilla trekking including rules and guidelines to follow while observing the gorillas in their natural habitat. Later, you shall be divided into groups of 8 pax who are required to track a particular gorilla family and assigned 2 park rangers who have experience in gorilla trekking. Later, you shall embark on a gorilla trekking experience in search of the mountain gorillas through the lush forests of Bwindi giving you a chance to spot other wildlife species. On finding the gorillas, you shall be granted 1 full hour of experience and head back to the camp.

In the evening, you shall visit the Batwa people for cultural experience including the traditional dances and folk songs that will give you a deeper insight about their way of life such as hunting and food gathering. Return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Return To Kampala and Relaxation

Rise early in the morning with a restful breakfast at the lodge and check out. Check out and transfer back to Kampala with a stopover at the Equator for lunch and later proceed to Kampala for your dinner and overnight stay as you prepare for the next Ndere cultural experience.

Day 4: Full-Day Ndere Cultural Experience

After your breakfast, you shall drive to Ndere Cultural Centre for a full-day cultural experience. Upon arrival, you shall be welcomed with a traditional dance and a glass of juice. Later, you shall participate in a variety of cultural activities including traditional preparation of local food, gathering fruits, and traditional dances and drama. Later, you shall enjoy your prepared food (Luwombo) and other stuff. Later after lunch, you shall have a traditional dance, visit the craft shops and take some souvenirs if interested. Return to the lodge and have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Drive through Kampala City to Entebbe International Airport

After your breakfast, you shall have a drive through Kampala the capital city of Uganda including the Buganda Craft Village. You shall then drive back to Entebbe International Airport for your flight as you conclude the 5 Days Uganda Cultural Tour.
